School Aims and Values
AIMS
To enjoy our times of prayer and worship, helping us to serve Jesus, follow in his footsteps and proclaim the Word.
And he said to them, 'Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.' Mark 16:15
To promote that everyone is unique, with the individual ‘gifts’ that we have been blessed with- to enable us all to be proud of ourselves in all that we do and achieve.
‘Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as fearful stewards of God’s grace in it’s various forms’. 1 Peter 4:10
To feel safe, respected, loved and valued, so we have the confidence to ‘be ourselves’ and the resilience to make a difference!
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29: 11-13
To be a place of kindness- where all feel welcomed, included and embrace diversity. Recognising that everyone is created ‘in the image and likeness of God’.
Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Romans 12: 15-16
To develop an enjoyment and love of learning; giving us independence, the drive to always do our best, the determination to succeed and the aspirations to ‘dream big!’.
‘Always remember what you have learned. Your education is your life, so guard it well. Proverbs 4:13
To appreciate the awe and wonder of God’s world; to be thankful for all that we have and our offered.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” – Colossians 3:17
To be a place where we learn from our mistakes- forgiveness makes every day a new beginning.
‘Judge not and you shall not be judged, condemn not and you shall not be condemned, forgive and you will be forgiven’. Mark 6-37
To be a ‘beacon of light’ in our school, our Parish, our community and in our World.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16
