Parking in Hazel Grove and Surrounding Area
We have had more complaints about inconsiderate parking by parents on Hazel Grove and the surrounding area. Please, under no circumstances, do not block residents driveways or park on grass verges.
Sports Relief
Next Friday, 19th March, we will be supporting Sport Relief. In exchange for a small donation children can wear their own sports clothes to school.
School Discos
A reminder that school discos for Infants and juniors are taking place on Thursday 18th March. The cost is £1.50 and this will include a hot dog, drink and sweets.
Infants 3.30 – 5.00pm (wear own clothes to school)
Juniors 5.15 – 6.45pm
Please DO NOT park in the staff car park to drop off or collect your child. There will be a lot of children coming to and from school and it is therefore in the interest of your child’s safety that we ask you not to drive into school on that evening.
Parents Evenings
Parents evenings are taking place on the following dates:
Y1, Y2, Y3 and Y5 on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd March.
Y4 on Monday 22nd and Wednesday 24th March
Parents evenings for Reception class will take place on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th March.
A letter was sent home yesterday to all parents - please return the slip that was attached as soon as possible in order that we can allocate your preferred times.
Parental Questionnaires
Questionnaires asking for your comments on our school were sent out this week. Your comments are important to us - please complete and return the questionnaire as the information will be collated and fed back to you in due course. The forms will also be available to complete when you attend parents evening.
A FEW REMINDERS
Children’s Mass
A reminder about the Children’s Mass at All Saints Church on Sunday 14th March at 10.30am - the Choir will be singing and we are encouraging families to come along.
Easter Menu
It’s not too late to order an Easter meal for Thursday 25th March - if your child would like to have a hot dinner on that day please let the office know – the cost is £1.85.
Wigan & Leigh Hospice – Easter Raffle
If you would like to buy a raffle ticket to support Wigan & Leigh Hospice they are priced at 20p each and are available from the school office. The prizes are a large Easter egg and a cuddly toy. Many thanks in anticipation for your support.
Nestle Box Top Tokens & Flora Tokens
If you have any Nestle Box Top Tokens or Flora tokens can you please send them into school. Many thanks.
All Saints Church - Weekend Mass Times
A reminder that weekend masses are held at All Saints Church at the following times:
Saturday evenings at 5.00pm
Sunday mornings at 10.30am
Everyone is welcome – please just turn up.
