I have been a teacher at All Saints for twenty one years. I started in the nursery department, then moved to year one for many years and I am now the year two class teacher. Apart from teaching, I have a real passion for animals. I have a varied collection of pets – most of them rescued. I enjoy swimming and walking through the fields with my dogs.

I also like dancing and have recently taken up tap classes. I do get a lot of pleasure from working in the garden and encouraging the birds, butterflies and bees.

Mrs Lancashire - Y1 Teacher

I've been teaching for 15 years now and all of those years have been spent, here, at All Saints. I have had the privilege of teaching in every year group over the years and I'm now based in KS1.

I'm lucky to have two brilliant boys who also attend our school. We love  to spend time together as a family and like nothing better than a caravan break away, near the seaside or seeking out excitement at a theme park.

In my very limited spare time, I'm a typical female of the species, who likes to be a lady of leisure, lunching with friends, being pampered and splashing out at the shops.

Mrs Ode - Y6 HLTA

I’m a HTLA working mainly in Year 6. I’ve had connections with All Saints School for over 20 years and I’ve worked here continuously for the last 17 years.

I think children gain a lot from 'hands on learning' and I enjoy teaching them about the importance of flowers, plants and how food is grown. The children are taught how to plant, nurture, dig for or pick the fruit and vegetables that we grow and then we cook and eat them.

Mrs Owen - Reception HLTA

I have had the privilege of working as part of the EYFS team at All Saints for over 11 years.

I am married with 3 children (all growing up now!) and I enjoy a busy family life.

I run the school choir and help with music throughout the school.  I am also a member of our school PTA.

In my spare time I enjoy reading and playing my guitar. As a family we spend a lot of time at my son’s rugby club, where I help to run our team and provide first aid/physio on match days. I am also a committee member of the club and help to raise much needed funds to enable children of all ages in our community to enjoy playing the game of rugby league.

Mrs Young - Reception Teaching Assistant

My name is Mrs Young. I am now in my tenth year here and have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside the dedicated and happy staff.

Over these years, I have worked closely with children & parents, supporting children with language and communication difficulties. I am currently working in Reception which I thoroughly enjoy. I especially enjoy getting to know each child as an individual, helping them achieve their targets. I feel that music and performance is essential in an infant classroom as it helps to engage, entertain and capture the children’s imaginations (I love to dance and sing). It is most fulfilling supporting and watching the children develop and grow through their learning journey at All Saints.

My interests outside school include meeting up with friends and going out for meals. My favourite sporting hobby is going to the gym and boot-camp to keep fit and healthy.

Miss Dean - Reception Teaching Assistant

I have three grown-up children and one granddaughter. I enjoy running and coaching youngsters in athletics.

 Mrs Prescott - Site Manager

I have worked at All Saints for twenty two years. I am the site manager and as such, I am responsible for ensuring that the building is secure and that it is clean and safe for all children, staff and visitors.

I work alongside Mrs Hughes and Mrs Whelan to ensure that Health & Safety requirements are adhered to.

Outside of school my hobbies include: swimming, aqua aerobics and walking. Also, when I get the chance, I enjoy going away for weekends to different cities and places of interest.

My hobbies are travelling and doing crosswords.

Mrs Carney - Admin Assistant

I have worked at All Saints since November 2008 when I moved to the area from Northampton. I started off just helping out in the office 1 day a week but soon went to full time.

I’m now winding down, getting ready for retirement, and work just 3 days a week. I love working in the school office, it’s always busy; never a dull moment!

Outside of school I have a busy family life, particularly with my 4 grandchildren. Apart from travelling, I love going walking, and cycling especially in the Lake District. I like to keep active and try to get to the gym at least 2/3 times a week as this makes me feel that I have ‘earnt’ a nice meal out at the weekend; eating out is definitely my favourite pastime.

Mrs Curtis - Admin Assistant

I’ve had a connection with All Saints since my children started
school here: being a parent volunteer and assisting with the ‘Better Reading Programme’, covering welfare duties at lunchtime and joining the PTA team to help raise funds for the school.

During the last three years I have been a Teaching Assistant in KS1 and thoroughly enjoyed my time working with the children and watching them grow and learn in a fabulous environment.

I used to work for Barclays Bank/Barclaycard for many years (too many to say!) and I am now working as part of the busy school office team with Mrs Whelan and Mrs Carney.

When I’m not in school I love spending time with my husband and two children and socialising with my family and friends. I like travelling to new places, making and eating nice food and I do enjoy the odd glass of fine wine!
