Very well done to Class 1 with a superb 100% attendance for the week prior to half term.
PTA Meeting
The PTA meeting that was cancelled last week has been re-scheduled to Tuesday 2nd March at 6.30pm in school. All are welcome to attend.
Clubs
Please note that from next week the recorder club is for the new group (Mrs O’Nians will remind children if they are in this group).
Y1 cookery lessons for Group 1 have finished for the time being. Group 2 start on Monday for 3 weeks.
Please note that football training is cancelled until further notice.
World Book Day
We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 4th March. We will start the day with a whole school assembly and then each class will be doing different book related activities during the day.
Children’s Mass
There is a special Children’s Mass at All Saints Church on Sunday 14th March at 10.30am - the Choir will be singing and we are encouraging families to come along.
Easter Menu
We are having a special Easter menu on Thursday 25th March – please see attached leaflet for full details. If your child does not already have hot dinners and would like to have a dinner on that day please complete and return the slip with your payment of £1.85.
Wigan & Leigh Hospice
This Easter, instead of selling toys, Wigan & Leigh Hospice are asking us to support their new idea – an Easter Raffle. The prize will be a large Easter egg and cuddly toy – full details on purchasing raffle tickets to follow.

Lent
A reminder that during the season of Lent we are selling cakes to raise money for Cafod and the Good Shepherd Appeal. Children can bring in cakes to sell on Mondays – all cakes will cost 20p each. Many thanks in anticipation for your support.
Nestle Box Top Tokens & Flora Tokens
If you have any Nestle Box Top tokens can you please send them into school before 31st March. Many thanks.
We are also collecting tokens that are currently appearing on Flora products - we can exchange these for cooking utensils to be used in school. Many thanks.
All Saints Church - Weekend Mass Times
A reminder that weekend masses are held at All Saints Church at the following times:
Saturday evenings at 5.00pm
Sunday mornings at 10.30am
Everyone is welcome – please just turn up.
