Attendance figures for last week were:

Very well done to Class 2 and Class 4 with the highest attendance for last week.
Target Sheets
These will be given out in separate envelopes today to all classes (except Reception). Please see class teachers if you need any clarification.
New secondary school for Lowton & Golborne
A public meeting regarding the new secondary school for Lowton & Golborne is to be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday 26th January in the Banqueting Suite at Leigh Sports Village.
The purpose of the meeting is to let you hear the proposal and to give you the chance to have your say. It is important that the views of local people are listened to and if you have an interest in the future of education in the area then please go along to the meeting.
Also, if you wish to make a comment on the proposed new school then please call in to school to complete a form.
Head Lice
Please note that there have been a few cases of head lice in school. Please check your child’s hair regularly.
Family Service
Please see the attached leaflet about an exciting and innovative service available to families in the Leigh, Lowton and Golborne areas. The Family Service aims to support families with young children to help them get the best possible start in life. Please read the attached leaflet and don’t hesitate to call in to school if you would like further information.
Golborne Scouts & Guides Barn Dance
Golborne Scouts & Guides are holding a barn dance on Friday 5th February 2010 at Golborne Parkside Sports & Community Club – 7.30pm. Tickets are £10.00 for adults and £5.00 for children and this includes a hot pot supper. Please speak to Mrs Kinta if you would like a ticket – Tel: 07713 256599.
Y6 Residential Trip
Just a reminder to parents that the balance for the Y6 trip to Robin Wood needs to be paid by the end of January. Many thanks.
Class 1 Assembly
This will take place on Friday 5th February at 9.00am in the school hall. Parents / carers are welcome to come along.
